In December 2006, long time Canadian travel and cruise industry executive Vanessa Lee purchased the Canadian publication Cruise Lifestyles and became the publisher and CEO.
Co-founder and former managing director of Encore Cruises, Lee has spent the last 15 years as a high-profile advocate for cruises and is considered by many in North America as synonymous with the cruise industry.
Complementing her personal experience and expertise, Lee has compiled a team of experienced and well-known publishing and travel executives including well known travel writer, Liz Fleming, as newly appointed editor-in-chief, and long-standing journalist and cruise aficionado Tin Thomas as editor emeritus. Ruth Peters, a previous publisher and former director of marketing for Encore Cruises, continues in her role as director, internet marketing and database management for the publication.
